Andy Nash

Andy is Chairman of BGF portfolio company Pureprint.


Andy began his career at Cadbury Schweppes after reading Economics and Geography at University. He subsequently worked in the healthcare and drinks industries.


In 1991 he was a principal in the £70m MBO of Taunton Cider which was floated on FTSE the following year for £150m. In 1995 the business was acquired by Matthew Clark for £280m. Two years after the takeover Andy retired as Managing Director and as a portfolio chairman has served on the boards of some 15 companies since notching up 37 acquisitions and disposals in the process. He has helped Executive teams manage PLCs and private companies with businesses in the UK, USA, Europe and the Far East.


Andy is Chairman of Somerset County Cricket Club and a director of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
